Puppy 1Puppy 1 and Puppy 2 are 6 weeks in length and meet for 50 minutes each class.  Puppy agility is a 6-week class that also meets for 50 minutes.  Please bring lots of small soft treats for your puppy to use each night in class.  Your puppy should arrive wearing a collar or harness.  A six foot leash is preferable.  We do not allow retractable leashes in our facility as they can be dangerous for both the puppy and the handler as well.

Puppy 1 is a 6-week class for puppies from 10 weeks to 11 months of age.  Basic training foundation skills are introduced to you and your puppy to help ensure that your puppy is a good canine family member and citizen.  The puppy will learn good manners for the home and community, self-control, and some basic obedience.  This includes learning to sit, down, come when called, walk nicely on a leash, have proper door behavior, stay in place, and not to jump on others.  Puppy 1 is taught in our Puppy Room away from any of the adult dogs who are attending other classes at the training center.  All interested family members are welcome to attend and participate in the training.

Puppy 2 is another 6-week class designed for puppies that have completed Puppy 1 at our facility or a class that is equivalent at another training center. At the conclusion of the class, you and your puppy can take the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test. Puppies who pass the test are eligible to receive an award certificate as well as a S.T.A.R. Puppy medal from the American Kennel Club. The puppies are up and moving as much as possible during this class. You and your puppy will get to experience a variety of the different canine sports we teach here at Creation's including Agility, Treibball, Noseworks, Tricks, and Puppy Bowling, as well as exercises from the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test.
